Dear Michael, The treatment session was very helpful for my condition (lower back pain). The cranial sacral after-care relaxed me and made me feel secure and recharged. Even though I experienced a little discomfort during the treatment of the atlas, I immediately felt relief after the installation. Before having my atlas corrected, I had a long history of discomfort in my neck. At the base of the skull on the left side, I carried a knot of tension constantly. Sometimes it would expand into a real headache. The discomfort often made my performance as a violinist and fiddler more difficult that it needed to be. Practice sessions were made shorter because of the increase in discomfort while practicing. The correction did not take long. The result was astonishing. For the first time my head felt balanced on my neck. My neck felt comfortable. It was a new experience. In subsequent days and weeks, the discomfort did not return. I'm practicing longer more easily. My playing is freer and more inspired. I noticed another benefit, too. When I went out in my yard and leaned over to weed or pick up debris, I experienced no dizziness or faintness. Now, I have unlimited energy to bend over and pull weeds that I didn't have before. I wonder how many people struggling with the "black upsies" or "gray outsies" have a badly aligned atlas. I had the AtlasProFilax in December of 2006. The first few weeks, I did not notice any drastic change, except I was feeling kinda sore on my body.
